Battery Storage for Your Home

Store your solar energy and use it when you need it

We install home battery systems across Melbourne – from Cranbourne and Berwick to the Mornington Peninsula and throughout the south-east.

Every battery installation is handled by our own qualified electricians. We’re SAA Accredited, based locally in Clyde North, and we’ve been doing this since 2018. No subcontractors, no shortcuts – just our team managing everything from start to finish.

What’s included in every battery installation:

  • Complete assessment of your current energy usage and solar output
  • Quality battery systems from Tesla, Sungrow, Sigenergy and GoodWe
  • Expert installation and seamless integration with your solar
  • All grid connection paperwork and approvals
  • 10-year workmanship warranty
  • Full monitoring setup so you can track your stored energy

We’ll visit your home for a free assessment, review your existing solar (or plan a new system), work out what battery capacity suits your household, and provide a clear quote with no surprises.

Why add a battery to your solar system

  • Use your solar power at night: Without a battery, excess solar generated during the day gets sent back to the grid for a small feed-in credit. With a battery, you store that energy and use it when the sun’s down – when electricity rates are typically higher.
  • Reduce your reliance on the grid: A battery means you’re drawing less power from the grid during peak times. You’re using energy you generated yourself, stored in your own home.
  • Protect against rising electricity costs: Energy prices keep climbing. A battery helps shield you from those increases by letting you use stored solar instead of buying expensive grid power at night.
  • Backup power during outages: Battery systems can keep essential appliances or even your whole home running during a blackout. Not all batteries offer full home, but if it matters to you, we’ll make sure you get one that does.

Solar Battery FAQs

How long does a battery installation take?

Most home battery installations are finished in a day. If your switchboard needs upgrading, it might take two days.

Do you handle the paperwork?

Yes. We handle all the grid connection forms, rebate claims, and electrical compliance certificates.

What battery capacity should I get?

It depends on how much power you use at night, your solar system size, and your budget. We’ll figure this out together during your free assessment.

What warranty do batteries come with?

Most battery manufacturers offer 10-year warranties. Our installation work also comes with a 10-year workmanship guarantee.

Can you add a battery to solar I already have?

Absolutely. We work with all the major solar brands and can integrate battery storage with most existing systems – regardless of who installed them.

Will my battery keep the lights on during a blackout?

Some batteries include blackout protection, others don’t. We’ll explain which systems offer backup power and help you decide what’s right for your situation.
