Our Installation Process

We make going solar easy
Every home is different. Whether you are in a new estate in Clyde North, a family home in Cranbourne, or a property in Officer or Pakenham, your roof pitch, energy usage and budget all affect which solar solution is right for you. That is why we start by listening.
Electrical Masters is a fully-accredited solar installer based right here in Clyde, Victoria. We do not use subcontractors. The same qualified, licensed electricians who design your system are the ones who install it. You get consistent quality, clear communication and a team that genuinely knows the South-East Melbourne region.
Thinking about adding solar panels, a battery like the Tesla Powerwall, or a combined solar and battery system? Read on and we will walk you through the whole process.
Free consultation and energy assessment
It all starts with a no-obligation consultation by phone, online or in person. We take the time to understand your energy goals, review your electricity bills and assess your property. Whether you are in Berwick, Narre Warren, Frankston or anywhere across the Casey and Cardinia council areas, our team knows local conditions: roof styles, grid connection requirements and the Victorian state rebates available to you right now.
We will answer every question you have, including how the federal Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) rebate works and what the Victorian Solar Homes Programme means for your upfront cost.
Customised solar system design
Once we understand your needs, our designers build a solar solution specifically for your home. We factor in your roof orientation, shading from nearby trees or structures, available roof space and your household’s daily energy consumption patterns. The result is a customised solar panel system, or solar and battery storage package, sized to deliver the best return on your investment.
You receive a full written proposal with system specifications, projected energy savings, payback period and product datasheets for every component. We use tier-1 panels from brands including AIKO, REC, Jinko and GoodWe, paired with Sungrow, GoodWe, Sigenergy, Fox ESS or Tesla Powerwall, batteries where applicable.
Professional solar panel installation
When you give us the go-ahead, our in-house installation team gets to work. No subcontractors, ever. Our licensed electricians handle everything from racking and panel mounting to inverter wiring, switchboard upgrades if required, and grid connection paperwork with your local DNSP.
We follow all Australian Standards and Clean Energy Council installation guidelines, and we take safety seriously on every job. Whether it is a residential rooftop in Clyde North, a Mornington Peninsula acreage property or commercial premises in Cranbourne or Pakenham, most standard residential installs are completed in a single day.
Handover, monitoring and ongoing support
We do not disappear after the install. Once your system is live, we walk you through how to read your monitoring app, understand your feed-in tariff and get the most out of your solar investment. If you have added a battery, we will show you how to set your charge and discharge schedules for maximum savings.
Your system is backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty. If something is not right with our installation work, we fix it, no questions asked. Our support team is available to all Electrical Masters customers across Frankston, the Mornington Peninsula and all suburbs in between.

Frequently asked questions about solar installation in South-East Melbourne
How long does a solar installation take in Clyde or Cranbourne?
Most standard residential solar installations in the Clyde, Cranbourne and Casey area are completed in one day. Larger systems or those requiring a switchboard upgrade may take two days. We will give you a clear timeline before we start.
Do I need council approval for solar panels in Victoria?
In most cases, no. Solar panels on residential homes in Victoria are generally exempt from planning permits under state planning policy. However, heritage overlays or owners corporation rules may apply in some areas. Electrical Masters handles all relevant paperwork and grid connection approvals with your DNSP on your behalf.
What solar rebates are available in Victoria right now?
Victorian homeowners may be eligible for the federal STC rebate (Small-scale Technology Certificates), which reduces the upfront cost of a new system. The Victorian Solar Homes Programme also offers interest-free loans for eligible households. Our team will assess your eligibility at consultation and apply all available incentives to your quote automatically.
Does Electrical Masters use subcontractors?
Never. Every Electrical Masters installation is carried out by our own licensed, in-house electricians. This is how we maintain our workmanship standards and stand behind our 10-year warranty with confidence.
